Hiking in Overijssel

Overijssel has a number of beautiful nature reserves that are certainly worth a visit. Take a wonderful hiking trip and afterwards come and relax in your holiday home in Twente . Do you need tips for where you can hike in Twente? We are happy to give you that.

1. The Sallandse Heuvelrug

Walk on National Park the Sallandse Heuvelrug through hilly heaths, sand drifts and coniferous trees. A unique landscape in Overijssel with countless hiking routes.

2. Springendal

Around Vasse and Ootmarsum you will find a beautiful nature reserve where you can enjoy hiking: Springendal. During your walk you will come across waterfalls, streams, hills, hay meadows, heather and historic farms. You will not get bored!

Hiking in the Achterhoek

You can also enjoy a walk in the Achterhoek. With short and long hiking routes you will get to know the Achterhoek in no time. You can of course also take a tour. It is all possible from your holiday home in the Achterhoek . Discover them all during your hiking holiday.

1. Graafschap

Stroll through the bocage of the Graafschap, with its many estates and surrounding small-scale farmland. The hiking routes vary from 4 to 18 kilometers and lead you past heaths and beautiful meadows.

2. Poort van Lochem

This 11-kilometers hiking route takes you past Berkendal and on the way back past the Lochemse Berg. You walk on estates, through the city and arrive in the historic center. You will really enjoy nature and the landscape.
