General rental and cancellation policy

When you make a reservation with us, you enter into a contract with us which includes rights and obligations for both parties. In the document below, you can view the exact content of this contract.

1. Reservation
You can reserve a holiday accommodation for a certain period in various holiday resorts at 'www.boekuwbuitenhuis.nl'. 'Boekuwbuitenhuis.nl' is a trade name of 'Uw Buitenhuis BV'. If after having booked an accommodation, it appears that the desired accommodation is not available, then the reservation will be canceled and you will immediately be offered an alternative. After making your reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation by email with all the details of your booking and the payment method.

2. Additional costs
The prices of the holiday accommodation do not include booking fees, tourist tax, environmental costs, cleaning costs, and any costs for bed linen and additional extras. The reservation costs are calculated per booking. The tourist tax and environmental costs depend on the size of your group and the duration of your stay. However, these will be displayed on the website before you finalize your booking. The cleaning costs can also be found in this overview. Of course, all additional costs are clearly specified on the invoice you receive with your booking confirmation.

3. Prices
}The prices on the website of ‘Boekuwbuitenhuis.nl’ are kept up to date as much as possible. However, Uw Buitenhuis BV reserves the right to change these prices at any time. The correct price will always be communicated to you during the booking process. The price stated in the booking confirmation is binding. Obvious typing errors are, however, not binding.

4. Rates
All stated rates are weekly rates from Friday to Friday, midweek rates apply from Monday to Friday, and weekend rates apply from Friday to Monday. The check-in and check-out times are stated on your booking confirmation and on our websites..

5. Payment
50% of the total amount due will be charged upon reservation. Payment must be made within 14 days after the final reservation. The payment of the remaining amount must be paid no later than 30 days before the date of arrival. When booking within 1 month before the start of your stay, the total amount must be paid in one go. In the event of late or incomplete payment, the reservation will be canceled after a written warning. In such cases, any amounts that were already paid will not be refunded.

6. Cancellation
If the holidaymaker cancels the contract before the commencement date, he or she will owe a fixed compensation. This amounts to: - If canceled more than three months before the effective date, 25% of the agreed price; - If canceled within three to two months before the effective date, 50% of the agreed price; - If canceled within one month before the effective date, 90% of the agreed price; - If canceled within one week before the effective date, 100% of the agreed price. We will always refund you the tourist tax, environmental costs, cleaning costs, and the costs for any other extras. We strongly advise you to take out a cancellation insurance.

7. Water, gas, electricity
The rental prices of the holiday accommodations at ‘Boekuwbuitenhuis.nl’ include the use of water, gas, and electricity. If this is not the case, this is clearly stated in the description of the relevant accommodation..

8. Arrival and Departure
You have to report to the reception of the relevant park on the day of arrival. The arrival and departure time is stated on your booking confirmation. If you cannot arrive within this time, we kindly ask you to contact the relevant park by telephone. Please make sure to bring your booking confirmation to the reception.

9. Liability
‘BoekUwBuitenhuis.nl’ and ‘Uw Buitenhuis BV’ are not liable for any form of damage to, loss of, and theft of your belongings during your holiday in one of our accommodations.

10 . Complaints
For any complaints during and after your stay in an accommodation offered by ‘Boekuwbuitenhuis.nl’, please contact the reception of the relevant park. It would be especially helpful if you do so during your stay, because this gives the employees the opportunity to solve the problem for you.

11. Permission
Reservations are made subject to permission from the owner of the relevant holiday home. Therefore, any reservation can be refused without a stated reason. We have the right to refuse reservations by companies for the purpose of housing employees.
